How to Create a Product-Wise Return Window
AfterShip Returns Center allows its users to create a product-wise return window so that shoppers can return items with high value and warranty with no fuss. This help guide will explain about the special return window.
You can use this feature if you’re on a Pro or higher plan.
Log in to your AfterShip Returns Center account > Go to Settings > Click Eligibility rules
Click Add product-specific window

You can create up to 5 special return windows.
Add product types or product tags as you like and set the end time

Click Done to enable your special window

The special window will always have higher priority than the default return window. It means if an item comes under the special return window, the regular return window doesn't work for it.
When an item meets the conditions of multiple special return windows, it will be eligible for the longest window.
Both the default return window and the special return window will open at the same time.
The resolution will remain the same, no matter whether the customer is returning a product through the default return window or the special one.
Let’s say a shopper wants to return an item, these 3 cases are likely to happen:
Case1: All returnable items belong to the general return window
Solution: The shopper can return all the items
Case2: All returnable items belong to the special return window
Solution: The shopper can return all the items
Case3: A few items belong to the general return window, and others belong to the special return window
Solution: The shopper will be allowed to return items coming under the special returns window. Items belonging to the default returns window will automatically become the part of the non-returnable list
