How to Edit Shipping Information
Relevant to: Essentials, Pro, Premium, and Enterprise plans
AfterShip Returns allows merchants to edit shipping information directly on the AfterShip Returns portal. It helps you to easily edit the information and regenerate a label when there is a label generation failure due to wrong information without needing to visit the eCommerce platform to edit the order data.
In this tutorial, we’ll discuss:
How to edit shipping information when auto-approval is enabled
How to edit shipping information when auto-approval is disabled
Log in to AfterShip Returns admin account
Click Edit shipping info inside the label error message

Fill in the corrent information

Hit the Save button
Click Generate label

You need to generate labels manually if you have not enabled the auto-approval option.
If the label generation fails for an order:
Go to Returns > Select an order
Click Approve > Generate label

If the label generation fails, click Edit shipping info
Update the shipping information > Hit the Save button
Click Generate label again
The label will now generate successfully
