How to Create a Workflow for Providing Separate Labels for the Same RMA?
AfterShip Returns Center’s multiple return labels for the same RMA feature allows merchants to generate the correct number of labels for the number of items being returned within the same order. This enables customers to properly pack each product within its box based on the product type and size and ship them back to the stock warehouse.
Note that the multiple label generation workflow feature is available only for Premium and above users.
Log in to your AfterShip Returns Center account and head to Settings > Return workflows

Click on Create workflow to configure a new workflow

To edit any existing workflow, from the right-hand drop-down choose > Edit workflow

You will see two templates on the popup window > Select Print separate labels for a return > Click Create

After clicking on “Create,” you will land on the New Workflow editor page, where you will be asked to select the trigger to activate the workflow
You can choose to activate the workflow when all conditions are met or if any of the conditions are met by simply selecting one of the options
Move on to Add conditions > set up conditions like Product Type and Product Tags for which the multiple label generation workflow will automatically activate
Click on Save draft if you wish to come back for further changes
Click on Enable to save and activate the workflow right away

Head over to the Returns dashboard > Click on any of the pending return requests
Scroll down to the two options asking if you want to “Reject” or "Approve" the RMA request

Once you approve the request, you will see the option to “Generate label” from Postmen > click on it

If the request meets the pre-defined conditions of multiple return labels, you will see labels for each returned item in the RMA
Click Submit > your customers will receive an email with all the return labels

An error message along with the reason will appear in case there is a problem generating any label

Once the return request is approved, and the labels are successfully generated, the merchants can see all the labels on the detailed RMA page

Please bear in mind that you can approve the return request only if all the labels are generated successfully.
Once the merchant approves the return request, the return status page will be automatically updated with the return labels for the items that the shopper wishes to return

The shopper will also receive an email with shipping instructions and the corresponding labels for the returned items
